The opportunity
At ReturnToWorkSA, we're delivering a significant Digital Transformation Program that will reshape how we support South Australians impacted by work injury. We're seeking an experienced Change Consultant to help drive the people side of change across complex technology, process and business transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a large-scale transformation program, partnering with leaders, project teams, employees, claims agents and external stakeholders to ensure change is adopted, embedded and sustained.
The position
Reporting to the Manager, Change and Capability, you will design and deliver change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, communications, training and business readiness activities that support successful transformation outcomes. You'll work across the full change lifecycle, from impact assessment and planning through to implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing change management, stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
- Building organisational readiness and supporting adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working.
- Facilitating workshops, training sessions and engagement activities for diverse audiences.
- Coaching leaders and stakeholders to effectively lead and support change.
- Assessing change impacts, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Measuring change effectiveness, readiness and benefits realisation through data-driven insights and reporting.
- Supporting transition-to-business activities to ensure sustainable outcomes.
This is a full-time, three-year fixed-term position.
About you
You are an experienced change professional who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders and delivering practical solutions that help people navigate change successfully. You can translate complexity into clear, compelling messages and tailor your approach to different audiences.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Experience delivering organisational change within complex environments.
- A recognised Change Management certification such as Prosci or equivalent.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience developing change, communication, training and business readiness strategies.
- The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- A growth mindset, resilience and the ability to thrive in ambiguity.

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $120,369 (plus superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
