The opportunity

As part of our ambitious Digital Transformation Program, we're seeking a Program Analyst to help deliver one of South Australia's largest and most complex enterprise transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for analytical, organised and collaborative professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of project delivery, reporting, governance and continuous improvement.

The position
Reporting to the Program Manager, Digital Transformation Program (DTP), you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, reporting and continuous improvement of a large-scale transformation program. You will work closely with Project Managers, technical and business stakeholders, and external strategic delivery partners to ensure effective governance, reporting and program outcomes. You will become a key subject matter expert in program management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence, while driving reporting, insights and operational excellence across the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse program delivery data, velocity and build throughput, defect and test phase trends, milestone and critical path performance, and provide insights to support decision-making and program outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain executive, governance and benefits reporting dashboards.
  • Configure, administer and provide support for project management and delivery tools (Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow).
  • Maintain the programs RAID register and provide governance support.
  • Coordinate program reporting, risks, actions, lessons learned and governance documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops, health checks, risk sessions and stakeholder meetings.
  • Develop and maintain program templates, frameworks, procedures and documentation.
  • Support project controls, compliance and quality assurance activities.
  • Monitor program progress, milestones and expenditure and report on variances.
  • Coordinate communications and presentations for a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Digital Transformation Program.

This is a full-time, three-year fixed-term position.

About you
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders. You bring strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Experience as a Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst or similar role.
  • Understanding of project governance, reporting and project controls.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, including Agile or hybrid approaches.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, or the ability to quickly develop expertise.
  • Strong reporting, research and business writing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience working across multiple projects or large transformation programs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability.
  • Exposure to risk, issue and vendor management processes will be highly regarded.

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $101,481 (plus superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
