The opportunity
We are recruiting for an Enterprise Project Portfolio Advisor to be a part of the Strategy and Planning team, which maintains and enhances ReturnToWorkSA’s strategic planning cycle, organisational governance processes, and enterprise project management framework.

The position
The Enterprise Project Portfolio Advisor is part of the Strategy & Planning team and plays a key role in supporting the delivery of ReturnToWorkSA’s strategic priorities. The role enables consistent, effective project and portfolio management, governance and reporting across the organisation, supporting informed decision‑making at executive and Board levels.

The primary objective of the role is to support the successful delivery of ReturnToWorkSA’s strategic initiatives by enabling consistent, effective project and portfolio management across the organisation. This includes strengthening project and portfolio governance, supporting capability uplift, and providing high‑quality reporting and insights to inform investment, prioritisation and decision‑making at an enterprise level.

This role will be a full-time ongoing position.

You bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and engage at executive and senior leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in project portfolio management, including relevant systems knowledge, and the ability to provide expert advice to support effective project and portfolio planning and reporting.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and performance processes in a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance processes, and ability to take minutes and prepare relevant papers.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking capability, with a data-driven approach.
  • Highly developed facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Practical experience and knowledge in documenting business processes using modelling tools
  • Experience in insurance industry highly desirable

 Special requirements/conditions

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience
  • Appointment is subject to appropriate pre‑employment checks

The total remuneration package for this position starts from $120,369 (plus superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
