The opportunity
This role offers the chance to play a key role in supporting medical and allied health providers in delivering high‑quality services to people with a work injury. You will use your understanding of the Return to Work scheme to translate Scheme expectations into practical guidance, resources and education that supports providers and improves Scheme outcomes. You’ll shape impactful learning solutions, build strong partnerships with provider groups, and continually improve resources, tools and training based on real‑world feedback and industry insight. With a focus on service excellence, collaboration and meaningful provider engagement, this role plays a key part in improving outcomes for injured workers across the Return to Work scheme. The position
This position plays a key role in strengthening the capability and performance of medical, allied health and return to work service providers operating within the Return to Work scheme. Through proactive engagement, relationship management and practical support, you will help providers understand Scheme requirements, navigate challenges and deliver high-quality services that support injured workers’ recovery and return to work. This is a key role responsible for delivering, improving and innovating education and support programs, developing high‑quality training resources, maintaining online learning modules, and evaluating program effectiveness. The role also centres on building strong relationships with providers and associations, understanding their needs, and ensuring they are equipped to deliver meaningful, high‑quality services that support injured workers’ recovery and return to work. Through collaboration across the organisation, the position helps shape consistent, effective service delivery and drives continuous improvement across provider education and support programs.

Remuneration
The base salary range for this position is $101,481 per annum (exclusive of superannuation. The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.

About you
You are an effective communicator and relationship‑builder with experience supporting medical or allied health providers operating within the Return to Work scheme. Highly organised and detail‑focused, you can juggle multiple priorities while delivering clear, impactful training and resources. You’re proactive, eager to understand provider needs, and skilled at creating practical solutions that improve service quality. Strong written and verbal communication comes naturally to you, and you collaborate well across teams to drive continuous improvement. Experience working within the South Australian Return to Work scheme is essential, as success in this role will come from your understanding of the Return to Work scheme, your ability to build relationships with health providers, and to translate Scheme requirements into practical guidance. A Cert IV in Training and Assessment or experience in workers’ compensation is a bonus but not essential.

Special requirements/Conditions

  • Current driver’s licence is essential as you will need to travel to meet with clients
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable but not essential
