This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring employers meet their premium and registration obligations, directly supporting the integrity and fairness of the ReturnToWorkSA scheme.
The position
As a key member of the Premium Audit function, you will play an important part in safeguarding the integrity of the ReturnToWorkSA scheme by conducting detailed premium audits, resolving complex compliance matters, and identifying non‑compliance across diverse industries. The position offers the chance to build specialist expertise in auditing, financial analysis, investigative work, and the practical application of the Return To Work Act 2014 (the Act), while engaging directly with employers, contractors and their representatives to influence positive behaviour and promote compliance. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape audit processes, contribute to policy and program development, and support continuous improvement across audit and compliance activities.
This is a full time, ongoing position.

You are an organised and analytical professional who is confident interpreting financial information and identifying risks. You communicate clearly, build respectful relationships, and can explain complex concepts in a simple, practical way. You work well both independently and in a team, balancing priorities while maintaining accuracy and integrity. You’re committed to continuous improvement and motivated by supporting fair, compliant outcomes for employers and the wider ReturnToWorkSA scheme.
About ReturnToWorkSA
At ReturnToWorkSA, our purpose is to empower and support South Australians impacted by work injury.
Our services and those delivered by our claims agents are designed to provide early intervention support to workers and employers following a work injury to ensure the worker can recover and return to work as quickly as possible. We manage the collection of premium payments from registered employers and our invested funds to ensure we maintain a viable financial position that enables the delivery of quality support and services to injured workers.
In addition, we are the regulator of the Return to Work scheme and play the key role of protecting the integrity and fairness of the Scheme by monitoring and enforcing compliance with the Act and providing education and support about the health benefits of work.

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $120,369 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
