Join ReturnToWorkSA as a People Advisor, providing trusted advice and support to employees while partnering with people managers and HR Business Partners to keep our HR operations running smoothly.
The position
We’re looking for a People Advisor who’s passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience from day one. In this role, you’ll be a trusted point of contact across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and payroll support, to providing clear policy guidance and driving wellbeing initiatives.
As part of our People, Capability & Culture team, you’ll join a collaborative and supportive group that values innovation, care, and excellence. Your work will help ensure every stage of our people’s journey is positive, engaging, and truly people focused.
This role will be a full-time ongoing position.
About you
You’re a HR professional with a solid understanding of HR processes and a track record of delivering high-quality advisory support. Known for your tact, diplomacy, objectivity, and sound judgement, you can navigate sensitive matters with professionalism and care — always putting people first while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
Highly organised and proactive, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities without compromising on accuracy or attention to detail. You’re confident using Microsoft applications, payroll and talent management systems, and electronic records management tools. Your collaborative approach, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement will help you drive better outcomes and make a meaningful impact in this role.
ReturnToWorkSA Profile
ReturnToWorkSA is a statutory authority that regulates South Australia’s work injury insurance scheme and provides insurance that protects workers and employers in the event of a work injury. This insurance covers workers for a range of financial supports, and the provision of recovery and return to work services; or where return to work is not possible, to maximise a worker’s level of function and community participation. We assist employers to respond effectively when work injury does occur, and to understand how to reduce the economic impact through prevention and supporting early and safe return to work.

The total remuneration package for this position starts from $101,481 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
