The opportunity
ReturnToWorkSA is seeking a highly skilled Service and Performance Advisor to play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality workers’ compensation services to the South Australian community. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional ready to drive service excellence.

About the Role
In this role, you will:

  • Analyse and monitor claims performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide expert technical advice to internal teams, agents, and external stakeholders
  • Design and implement systems of work that enhance service quality and efficiency
  • Lead or support strategic initiatives and process improvements
  • Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement across ReturnToWorkSA and our Claims Agents

This is a full-time, fixed-term secondment (6 months) based in Adelaide CBD.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience applying business management systems to program design and delivery
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage operational risks in complex environments
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing policy and directives
  • Background in workers’ compensation or insurance (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and evidence-based decision-making skills
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and results-focused
  • Commitment to ReturnToWorkSA’s values and continuous improvement

Our services and those delivered by our claims agents are designed to provide early intervention support to workers and employers following a work injury to ensure the worker can recover and return to work as quickly as possible. In addition, we are the regulator of the Return to Work scheme and play the key role of protecting the integrity and fairness of the Scheme by monitoring and enforcing compliance with the Act and providing education and support about the health benefits of work.

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $120,000.00 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
