Service Desk Analyst

The position
As a Service Desk Analyst at ReturnToWorkSA, you will be the first point of contact for end-users needing technical support for our systems and applications. Your primary responsibilities include providing prompt and efficient service desk services, managing incidents and requests, and ensuring timely resolutions. You will also provide first and second level technical support, maintain access rights and security settings, and manage IT assets. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery function by analysing trends, recommending enhancements, and maintaining service desk procedures.

This role will be a full-time fixed term contract for 12 months.

About you
You have a solid background in PC technology and end-user computing tools, with experience in IT Service Desk environments and ITIL processes. Your technical skills include intermediate knowledge of Windows OS, O365 apps, MS Teams, and system administration tools like Active Directory and Exchange. You are skilled at multitasking, meeting deadlines, and providing excellent customer service, even in challenging situations. Additionally, you have experience with incident management, problem resolution, and a focus on improving service delivery and efficiency. Knowledge of Cisco CUCM, Azure Virtual Desktop, and ServiceNow is a plus. Most importantly, you have a natural ability to provide excellent customer service.

Special requirements/Conditions

  • Some work outside of normal business hours will be required, including participating in a roster
  • Some overtime may be required out of normal business hours or on weekends, mainly for testing post Upgrades or rollouts

The annual base salary for this position aligns with Job Grade 3 of our current Enterprise Agreement, starting from $81,299 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
