The position
The Cyber Security Specialist will be part of a team responsible for providing specialist security support and advice to ReturnToWorkSA on the protection of ReturnToWorkSA’s information systems and services. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring security threats, breaches, and major incidents to ensure the protection of ReturnToWorkSA’s operations. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organisation's digital assets and ensuring the security of our systems and networks. You will collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents.
The Cyber Security Specialist will join a team dedicated to providing expert security support and guidance to ReturnToWorkSA, focusing on the protection of our information systems and services. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring security threats, breaches, and major incidents to safeguard our operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting our organisation's digital assets, ensuring the security of our systems and networks, and working closely with internal teams to identify and address potential security risks, implement protective measures, and respond to security incidents.
This role will be a full-time ongoing position.
About you
As a Cyber Security Specialist at ReturnToWorkSA, you will be a key player in managing our information security framework. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, customer-centric environment and works seamlessly with teams to tackle complex security challenges. With a solid background in systems engineering and cyber security, your focus will be on proactively addressing security risks to safeguard our infrastructure.
Your hands-on technical expertise will include Microsoft technologies, SaaS security and Incident Response. A background in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and experience with systems like CrowdStrike and Airlock will be highly regarded. Experience in insurance or public service sectors is also a plus.
Furthermore, your strong analytical skills will be crucial in evaluating and refining our services to continuously strengthen our security measures. The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $116,863 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
