The Opportunity
As the Service and Performance Advisor, you will play a key role in driving efficiency and excellence by monitoring and analysing the performance of the scheme. You will work as part of the Service Delivery and Operations Team who are responsible for creating the service and operational systems. Through partnering with our Claims Agents, service providers and other areas of our business you will identify and implement strategies to improve performance to key areas of responsibility such as Eligibility, Recovery and Return to Work, Third Party Recoveries and Specialised Claims.

The Position

In the role you will be responsible for amongst other things:

  • Developing and maintaining clear and concise claims management policy, in line with the Return to Work Act 2014, and ReturnToWorkSA’s objectives.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on critical scheme measures.
  • Designing, developing, leading, and implementing systems of work to deliver fair, effective, and efficient outcomes in key areas of responsibility.
  • Leading and undertaking systemic risk monitoring and taking appropriate action.
  • Undertaking administrative functions in accordance with delegation powers and financial authorisations.


This role will be a full-time fixed term contract for two years.


About You
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting people impacted by workplace injury. This role would suit an individual with prior experience in personal injury insurance, or an individual with allied health, rehabilitation or medical knowledge and relevant commercial skills, or wanting to expand your experience in an insurance setting. An understanding of the Return to Work Scheme and relevant legislation, as well as the pathways and barriers to recovery and return to work in a personal injury setting is essential.


Special Requirements / Conditions
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, with a focus on allied health, personal injury, law, or commercial management

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $107,842 (exclusive of superannuation).
