The opportunity
ReturnToWorkSA is seeking an experienced and capable people-leader to manage a team within a service centre, who facilitate the registration of employers and the collection of workers compensation premiums from employers in South Australia.
The position
As Team Leader Premium Services you will lead and positively contribute to your team’s culture by providing leadership, guidance and management. In this position you will be responsible for leading one of two teams, where you will have 10 direct reports. You will manage resources, ensure quality outcomes, resolve issues, provide advice and identify improvement opportunities. This position is instrumental in leading a team of employees responsible for processing new employer registrations, investigating industry activities, and determining the appropriate South Australian Industrial Classifications (SAIC), to ultimately ensure the team achieves its objectives to maximise premium collection to fund the scheme.
This role will be a full-time ongoing position.
About you
You are a highly competent leader with proven experience and capability in leading successful customer centric teams. You possess excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build relationships, influence key stakeholders and help the team succeed. The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy and procedures accurately is critical to this role. Previous insurance or workers compensation experience is desirable but not essential.
Special Requirements
- Required to work under a roster system, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
- May be required to work overtime during peak processing periods.

Team Leader - Premium Services - Insurance
The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $116,863 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
