The Opportunity
Join our Digital & Information Group (DIG) as an IT Project Manager, where you will lead project teams and squads, ensuring value delivery in projects, system upgrades, and major enhancements, including large digital transformation initiatives.

Your project and stream work will be guided by ReturnToWorkSA’s DIG PMO Project Delivery Procedure, Agile Playbook, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Tailoring principles.

The Position
As the Project Manager, you will collaborate across the organisation, working closely with internal stakeholders to project manage build and change initiatives, or lead Scrum teams in run initiatives. Key responsibilities include understanding and applying Tailoring concepts, and selecting the most suitable delivery approach, project management methodology or ways of working for each project.

This role will be a full-time fixed term contract for two years.

About You
We're seeking someone who thrives in a culture of care, professional excellence, and accountability. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with various stakeholders are essential. Previous experience in successfully delivering IT projects end-to-end is essential. Experience in Agile ways of working in large transformation initiatives is ideal. In addition, experience delivering maintenance projects, especially in cloud-based infrastructure, is highly desired.

Special Requirements / Conditions

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster, or similar certification.

The total remuneration package for this position ranges from $107,842 to $124,707 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
