The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Health Provider Engagement Specialist to join our Regulation team at ReturnToWorkSA.

The Health Provider Engagement Specialist develops and implements programs to educate and support health providers to deliver high quality services to the Scheme, monitors approved return to work services and regulates adherence to the provider fee schedule. 

The Role:  

  • Support the RTWSA Medical and Allied Health Advisors to educate and provide support to providers and their practices
  • Develop, implement and monitor creative and innovative education programs, clinical tools and resources for all providers and measure their success
  • Identify opportunities that lead to Scheme improvement
  • Support  effective and collaborative working relationships with provider associations
  • Implement and maintain support service programs, guidelines, tools and other resources that support Scheme participants in achieving effective recovery and return to work service for injured workers
  • Monitor the access to and provision of Services to ensure effective and high-quality services
  • Measure impact/outcomes and identify and implement opportunities to continuously review and improve services
  • Provide education and support to claims agents when required
  • Undertake monitoring and analysis activities to assist regulate health providers
  • Support the effective administration of approvals and performance management of  return to work service providers
  • Work collaboratively within the Scheme Support team and across RTWSA business areas and claims agents

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Significant experience in working with health and return to work services providers, preferable in a workers compensation or insurance context
  • Allied Health background is desirable
  • Ability to understand the needs and preferences of providers and deliver effective support and communication
  • Good understanding of how medical and allied health practices operate
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in developing and implementing education programs for health and return to work service providers
  • Project management skills
  • An effective presenter and able to prepare a wide range of written documents
  • Able to effectively analyse a variety of data sources in order understand and implement effective responses to trends
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable
